International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) No. 3402, Assurance Reports on Controls at a Service Organisation, was issued in December 2009 by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB). ISAE 3402 was developed to provide an international assurance standard on the controls at a service organisation that are likely to impact or be a part of the user organisation's system of internal control over financial reporting.

The ISAE 3402 report is widely recognised because it represents that a service organisation has been through an in-depth audit of their control objectives and control activities.

As a holder of an unqualified ISAE 3402 Type II report issued by KPMG Accountants N.V., Circle Partners demonstrates the establishment and effective design of control objectives and control activities. With the recent heightened awareness to operational risk management, we aim to provide our clients comfort over the control environment, mitigating the risks with a focus on our clients' financial reporting.

The scope of our ISAE 3402 Type II report covers fund accounting, investor services and our ICT environment. It includes (but is not limited to) controls relating to: net asset value calculation, investors' transactions, payments, fund compliance with investment restrictions and back-up recovery and procedures.
